The KeeniTop Story
In 2019 Gene had this idea to design a bimini top for his Miata. He wanted something that would be easy to put on and take off and take up minimum space. Gene also wanted a top that was stylish and would work for all Miata Lovers. Just like that KEENiTop was born. GJR Racing is excited to introduce the KeeniTop, a keen little bikini/bimini top that slides into a rail that is attached to the top of the windshield ledge, while allowing you to continue to use your factory soft-top and hardtop. Gene passed away in early spring of 2023. During this time with the help of family and friends KeeniTop slowly started back in production. KeeniTop is truly a family business run by Gene's daughter Tara, nephew Jay and niece Amber. Jay continues to work through the drawings, while Amber is the creative one designing all sorts of KeeniTop swag along with creating the top you all have come to love. Tara handles the back-end of the business and is supported by her mom, Joyce.
